As risk management experts, we understand that appropriate use of portable fire extinguishers can stop a small fire from developing into a major incident. Yet, the world is full of strange, wonderful and sometimes inventive people. With that in mind, here is one way to probably never use a fire extinguisher (followed by our guidance notes on how you definitely should).

Disappearing ink

Take this host of an American TV show, who has found a novel (and not recommended by us) way of removing ink…We prefer Tippex, or throwing away the page and starting again. But this guy proves on live television that you can remove ink with a fire extinguisher.
