Road workers face all kinds of risks, from moving vehicles to drivers’ road rage – an Oxford University study ranked road working as the 16th most hazardous occupation in the UK. So it’s safe to assume that road workers are used to identifying potentially risky situations. Isn’t it?
A video of a road worker went viral when he tried to do the Hard Hat Challenge, where you use a shovel to flick your safety helmet on to your head. He launched his helmet into the air, only for it to hit him squarely on the head, causing him to fall over.
It seems that with this particular road worker, the risks are self-inflicted…
