Many regions around the UK have been hit by storms and floods in the past few months. In spite of the cold weather, there is still time to plan ahead and avoid potential severe weather claims. We have listed the key resources, websites and contact details you need this winter.

Staying up-to-date

The Met Office forecasts up to 30 days in advance, with a section on severe weather warnings where you can check your local area.

If you are located in England and Wales, you can check flood warnings with the Environment Agency and subscribe to text alerts and email updates.

If you are based in Scotland, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency offers flood warnings and updates.
